How to know if car battery is low before it runs out of battery?

in

How can I be notified/aware if my car battery is low before it stops working?

Model: Nissan - Tiida
It's been four years since I had my car, but last year it stopped working due to low battery. I guess, taking my car for service every month is worth it, thanks for all your feedbacks!

Answer:
2 to 4 years is the average, depending on the battery. These days it seems there is no warning, everything is fine until the battery fails completely. Sometimes you will hear the starter slow down, but not always.

How to stop my daughter car seat sliding on our leather car seats?

in

Our seats in our car are leather and my daughter new forward facing car seat slides on it. No matter how tight we pull the belt, it will still slide. We have put it in properly!
Is there anything we can buy to grip the seat to the chair? and where can we get it from?

Thanks

Answer:
The rubber mat idea sounds good but could damage the leather but instead try using a small piece of rug and you can get the same color of the leather at home improvement centers and rug stores for nothing..

Parallel parking has some exact steps to it if done properly so I was wondering if this situation might have some exact steps to it to make it easier for the reversing driver. Basically, I definitely want to hit the car on either side of me when doing it so what should I do? Thank you in advance for any information given.

If the ticket has already been posted to your record meaning that you have paid for it then you would need to hire a lawyer..... how to get traffic lights put in somewhere they are needed?

in

There is a really bad Intersection where there needs to be traffic lights just wondering how I could try and get some put in before there is anymore accidents!

Thanks.

Answer:
Traffic lights are installed usually through a "bottom-up approach," with neighborhood demand and local government support are the keys to getting the process going. All traffic signals must be approved by the state Department of Transportation and meet at least one of eight "warrants" established in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, published by the Federal Highway Administration. The most common reason is excessive volume. Anyone campaigning for a traffic light is advised to first talk with the town engineer and/or police chief to determine if the intersection has ever been studied. Here are some tips on how you can get on installed. Ask your town engineer and/or police chief if the intersection has ever been studied. If it has, find out the last time it was and request a new study. If it has not, make your argument to the engineer and the town council why a study is warranted. A traffic light will only be installed if the intersection meets at least one of these criteria: *Excessive volume in eight- and four-hour periods. *Rush-hour congestion. *Pedestrian delays. *School crossing hazards. *Traffic flow problems. *History of collisions. Once the study is completed, and if the intersection meets one of these criteria, a request can be made by the town to the state Department of Transportation, which will make the final decision.

How to tell if your at 45 degrees while parallel parking?

in

can someone explain how you can tell your car is at 45 degrees to know when to start turning?

Answer:
If you are sitting behind the wheel and you are pulled up beside the vehicle with which you intend to "parallel park", then you can put your arms at a 90 degree angle (right hand pointed straight ahead, and left hand straight out the window from your left shoulder)......half of this is 45 degrees. Point across the street and find a reference point (out over the center of your driver's side mirror). When your front bumper is pointing at this 45 degree reference point, you begin to straighten your front wheels............and so on....
