Hi, I have purchased cables to go from the DVI port on an HP Pavilion p7-1110 to the component inputs of my television. I can't get signal on the tv. I have tried duplicating and extending the display. Can anyone help?

Yes, you read that right. I'm googling it and all I'm getting is a bunch of guides on how to set your computer screen to appear on the television.

Well what if I want to do the opposite? How would I do that?

The Reason:
While my TV is bigger than my computer, it's blurry so I can't see small numbers and strain my eyes trying to. My TV is old, but I don't think it's TOO old.

I'm in a dark room with the tv on, and my laptop is blinding me. It's on the lowest brightness setting - is there a way to make it lower than the lowest setting?

Just got a new Eizo ColorEdge Monitor and my keyboard is not being recognized when I plug it in to either of the USB ports. I was wondering if it could be a power issue, a compatibility issue or something that I have overlooked that is so simple, please help. Thanks.

My laptop screen has gone out and the colors are all inverted. I want to start the computer to a tv. I've already got it to show up at the Login screen, but i want the "Asus" and "Starting Windows" screen to startup on the tv too. Any clue how to do this? Thanks!

When playing a game or using a full screen program and I go to change music for example on my second monitor, the game will minimize on my main screen, anyway around this besides putting it in fullscreen window mode?

My Windows 7 taskbar shows the date and the time.
Now I only like to show the time, like it was possible in XP, but this doesn't seem to be possible,
as I can only choose to show date and time or none under properties.

Any suggestions how to only get the time displayed?

Hi. Does anyone know a way to turn my monitor into a mirror? Or a background I can use to turn the monitor into a mirror? Scanning a mirror does not work.

I want to use an HDMI cable for my monitor because I'm using the VGA for my tv, and I don't have a DVI cable, and the HDMI cable isn't long enough to reach the tv. With the HDMI cable going to the monitor, there's a large black border around the screen. I've tried adjusting the resolution settings but it hasn't changed it at all. I'm using this ancient ATI HD Radeon 3650 with windows vista, and an LCD monitor. Is there any way to fix this?

I bought a projector that projects a TV or Gaming system up to 10 foot diagonally on any wall or white surface. The problem is that it only has AV connections in\out. Is there a cord or connector I can buy; and where, to connect it to my Monitor output on my computer so that my computer screen will be projected also?
