Basically, I watch tv shows on my laptop that I've missed and I want to be able to put it on my tv in my room. I have an iPod docking station and I can link up the docking station to the tv to watch videos from my ipod to the tv. I don't have a wire to connect my laptop to the tv though. is there anyway I could connect my laptop to the docking station which would then link up to the tv?

I really want to take great care of my new laptop. I've even made a rule of washing hands before using it. What can I do to take extra care of it? I dont have a laptop case for it, yet. So what or some other ways to keep dust out of it?

Ok my headphones work perfectly fine on anything but my laptop and whenever i plug em into my laptop sound doesn't come out of either the speakers or the headphones but when i only plug them in half way sound comes out of both i have a HP pavillion g6 laptop how do i fix this ps i have tried with the sound settings in the control panel.

My Mom was cleaning my brother's keyboard on his computer that is a Mac. The keyboard now won't work, I have tried disconnecting it and then reconnecting but still won't work. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
She put windex on a cloth and wiped it hat way if that helps.

I've been trying to connect my vostro 3500 laptop to display on my apex digital tv model #ld4088 using an hdmi cable. From what I have seen through youtube videos, it should just display on my tv automatically but it won't. The computer recognizes that the cable is plugged in but not the tv itself and the tv is set to the appropriate hdmi setting.

What should I do?

Hi. My younger friend asked if I could sort her laptop again and well i've forgotten how to do it but this is also a problem I have never encountered before. Basically the start up is fine but at the point where the user normally signs in, it turns red. I have tried and but it seems to have no effect. It does beep for a few seconds after the button is pressed giving me pointless hopefulness and then asks for the password. It doesn't log on to the desktop at all. What do I do?

How to install Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit? I know how to install OS but I'm never sure that all drivers all installed. I'm planning to buy new laptop with DOS and I just have to insert W7U 64 bit installation CD and all drivers will be installed automatically? I'm a bit afraid. :D HELP

I replaced my Dell Inspiron 1525 with a new AM 9 cell battery for use when I don't want to bring my Vaio home. It lasts a good 4 hours. However, Windows Vista puts the red circle with white x next to the battery and it shuts off the screen sometimes (inconsistent). It does this because the normal battery would have died by now (6 cell). However, the 9 cell still has an hour + left in it. How can I change the settings to recognize the larger battery or not shutoff.
