How to download pictures from a camera to a flash drive?

It didn't say how to in the instruction manual and I would like to know how to but i don't want them on my computer. Please help.me out!

There is NO USB 2.0 port on a camera (The USB port is a mini-port), so you have to copy the images to a flash drive that is connected to a computer. You can copy them directly to the flash drive which shows up as a removable drive on your computers file manager, bypassing the computers hard drive

When you plug it in look at the notification bar on your laptop. (bottom right corner) is it installing any drivers? If so let it finish installing then goto my computer and then it should be there. If no drivers are being installed go directly to my computer and it should be there. If not then turn the camer on while plugged in. btw the pictures will be in a different folder other then the memory card. If you have a memory card put it in the view the pictures in the camera its self then goto options and transfer them to the memory card. Under options it should say copy or move click it to rltransfer to memery card

you can go on to the fuji web site and download all the necessary soft ware. My camera did not come with the software it needed this was the only way to get it.
Most computers will now take just the card in a reader slot and can use the generic microsoft software to organise and store photos. too
I would not use a USB connection as that usually uses the cameras battery power to down load.

Having done a career in television news / sports, rack focus is actually very simple.
Tripod, pick two subjects one several feet behind the other but both visible. Focus on the front object and as video roles, rotate your focus ring to bring the back subject into focus... or in reverse, back to front - doesn't matter. That's it - rack focus.

Go to (control panel, then system, then go to the hardware tab). In the hardware tab you will see a button called device manager. Once in device manager (I would have your camera unplugged from the computer) - then replug the camera in while watching device manager. If it doesn't auto find the hardware you can go to the (top-little pc monitor looking thing) and highlight it, then go to your "actions" tab and hit "scan for hardware changes". That forces the PC to look for new devices such as flash drives, printers, cameras etc... 90% of the cameras will not need a driver installed for XP or Vista to use them. If not, it will come up a yellow (!) explanation mark beside the new hardware. That will tell you it needs to go to the camera's manufacturer website and download the drivers for it. If it does find it while your monitoring that device manager page you will see a new device come up and you can double click over it after expanding the (+) sign and look to see if it found your camera. Also, alot of cameras will show up under mycomputer as a drive letter, sort of like a memory stick from a camera or cell phone.

If you are trying to sneak it, then wear a zippered jacket and have the camera on the chest harness underneath. The only problem is that view might be too low.
You could always pretend like you have a mental disability and have to wear a helmet at all times. :)

It sounds as if you don't have a built in card reader so buy a usb card reader. They're not expensive and are available where ever cameras are sold.

I'm doing lomography just for fun. And I plan on getting a mini fisheye one.
Is this kind of camera just like an old-fashioned Kodak camera where you have limited amount of film and have to process it somewhere?
If so, do I use the special lomography film? And can I process it anywhere?

You load film in the camera and that lasts for a certain number of exposures after which you unload it and get it processed and printed somewhere. Most of the cameras use 120 film, a number take 35mm film. You can use any film, not only the insanely expensive stuff sold under their own brand.
All the lomo crowd pride themselves on the fact that all you need to do is point it vaguely into a direction and press the button. Apparantly the fact that you don't really know what will be in the picture or if it will be exposed properly is all part of the fun.
