How to cure slowed down thinking from allergies?

This season my allergies are pretty bad, and I'm taking allegra and it helps a lot. However, I have not been able to think straight and Ive also been pretty moody and irritable. Is there any treatment for these symptoms?

Answer:
There are various methods to avoid frequent mood swings. Intake of magnesium from green vegetables and fruits, consuming enough fish oil supplements, keeping stress and other stimulants such as cigars, coffee, tea at bay, taking in vitamin and mineral tablets can help to a considerable extent. If you are an active person, the sudden slow down in your energy level can be frustrating. To prevent allergies taking toll on your body, try following these simple tips. Keep a diary: The next time you start facing reactions due to allergy, note down what all you ate, the temperature or climate during the time, any other conditions you are exposed to, and the like. If you do this two to three times, you can find out the cause for your allergy and take special care to avoid it the next time. Check what you eat: Even if you go to a restaurant or buy anything from shop, ensure that it doesn’t have any additives or preservatives. That can only worsen your condition. The best way is to choose organic foods which are safe and healthy. Clean your surroundings: Ensure that your house, surroundings, beds, and carpets are always clean. As winter is the time most of the people suffer from allergies, they should get some sunlight whenever possible. Whatever you do, the best way to prevent allergies is to avoid the allergens, eat healthy foods and exercise regularly. This will help in making your immune system stronger and give you relief from any allergic reactions which make you moody or drowsy.

How to I cure an allergic reaction on my hands from lotion?

My hands were really dry, so I used some lotion on them. I have used this lotion before, and nothing happened. Now, I have small red dots on my hands, and I don't know how to get rid of them! I want to use lotion because my hands are dry, but I don't want to make the reaction worse. So, what should I do?

Answer:
Stop using the lotion for a while and use a mild corticosteroid cream widely available in the market prescription free . For long term purpose either switch to a different brand of lotion and chek if you get a similar reaction or stop using a moistening lotion altogether and just wash your hands well with a mild soap if they get too dry and itchy
